Chairman's Message

Almost 100 years ago, the family was involved in the tradition of agriculture and trading as a way of living. However, following the ascension of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to the throne in 1970, our first company was established. The business acumen of our late father and his vision enabled us to reach where we are now under the umbrella of the Al-Rawahy Holdings LLC, which controls all the business portfolios of the family. The vision we inherited is based on three main principles:

• Ethics
• Co-operation

These principles are shared across our organisations despite our divers business activities. This has resulted in growth at an assured pace given the business and environmental climate. Our different teams are enthusiastic and always alert to introduce new technologies or find other areas that will further benefit our group and the development of the country. We are committed to an Omanisation program that is ambitious but achievable as we believe that human recourses are the backbone for future success. Today, Al Rawahy Holdings businesses operate not only in Oman, but also in other countries including United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. We continue to grow and look for opportunities that give us better returns without compromising our values. We pray to the Almightly Allah to continue leading us on the correct path and remain determined to achieve our mission and vision. We ask Him to propel us towards positive participation in building our people and nation; respect our culture, traditions, environment, clients and partners under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
